WCGBD News

“To spread some holiday cheer to the West Coast area, we here at the Ghostbusters West Coast are having a half price sale on all services. This offer expires January 2nd (because who wants to have us exterminate during your new years party, so we give you an extra day) From us here at the West Coast and from the suits at GBI, (”bah humbug” - the suits) we wish everyone a merry what-ever-you-celebrate.” - Dr. Joey Williams, WCGB CEO

Who does your math?

It should have been noticeable right from when you entered gbiweb.net. The G.B.I User Agreement is back and once you clicked on our special “no ghost” logo, you arrived at version 1.9. I had an idea yesterday for a new version when I thought something like what would happen if version 1.7 (which never went public) and version 1.8 were combined. You get this wondeful masterpiece, version 1.9.

Happy Holidays

Franchise Package News (Slight Update)

Commercial Service Rep. Bill Malkin sent up one updated form. G.B.I is waiting for a few more modernized forms. On behalf of my employeer I am sorry this has taken so long. Once the package is done, I feel it will be worth the wait.

NJGB News

“We had a small malfunction in one of our ghost traps and long story short the old gbnj.com was lost. I scrambled over the past week to get gbnj.com as close to the original site as I could. (I also added the Version 1.3 updates)  Before I officially change the site designation to gbnj.com I would like to invite you all to check it out and let me know of any problems you encounter.” - Bill Malkin, NJGB CEO

Newsletter Update

It might be because its the holidays, the sign up for the newsletter has been slow. Unless it picks up, the suits don’t think it’ll be worth their (my) time or expense. If their is a newsletter, it won’t be until next year.

Fa La La La…

G.B.I went Christmas, now so has our site, kinda. While not as elaborate as say, the JZGBs Christmas/Holiday design (something to do with buying Christmas trees) the company finally decorated gbiweb.net. I’d like to thank the commercial services department for our Christmas “no ghost logo.” Right now its only on the main page, however our special logo could find its way to other areas of the site.

1984© Last Holiday Promotion

I tried to do this on the 15th, when I wanted to, the new banner wasn’t ready. My apologies this news wasn’t up sooner. I put up the last banner promotion near the top of the page.

From now until December 20th you can get 2 day shipping for the price of ground.

G.B.I Newsletter?

There could be. I found out earlier we have a way to send a newsletter through our site and straight to your inbox. You would get updates on the company, 1984©, and franchise news before it hits the site. If you’re the type of person who likes to have archived news, you now will. Want to be in the know? Then please scroll down a little and enter your valid email address in our sign up box.

The Heart Of The Ghostbusters!

G.B.I has been busy this December. If you miss a couple of hours, certain things or people might surprise you. That’s why its a good idea to sign up for the new newsletter and while you’re at it, register on our forums.

This weekend, Dr. Ray Stantz himself joined his friend Dr. Venkman and franchise friends on the G.B.I forum. Its a great honor to have ghostbusting legends interacting with us.

You Can Contact Him, Just Don’t Expect A Response.

Speaking of legends, Dr. Venkman wanted me to add his office email to the site. He said you can write him, but because of how busy he is and the volume of mail G.B.I gets, its doubtful you’ll get a response. This is one reason he joined us on the forum. He assures me if he can redirect your emails to the proper depts, his client admin. will.

Franchise Package News

Its been a long while so I knew it was time to let you all know what was going with these oh so important documents. I’ve been in touch with Bill Malkin and he’s working on updating the last of the G.B.I documents. While working on the documents and talking to Bill, I came up with an idea to put together more then just mailing out important documents to franchises.

What I’m proposing is making an actual franchise package and putting it into a binder. Franchises can still send me there addresses and G.B.I will mail out your acceptance letter. However I thought this was a cool idea and a nice collectable to have. Besides in order to run your franchise, you need this paperwork. The franchise package will also be available here.

No set date as to when the package will be complete or be on-line. I can tell you as of now it won’t be until after New Years.

NJGB News - Update

“You can now reach us again at www.gbnj.com.” - Bill Malkin, NJGB CEO

MTGB News (Yes, we did say Middle Tennessee Ghostbusters)

“Our particular franchise has been heavy hit by legal woes as of late. We did a job for the Metro government that went sour and now they’re trying to sue us out of exsistance…legally, that’s all I can tell you. We were slapped with an injunction and had to pull the website too. We still have our exclusive franchise rights for the Middle Tennessee area, we’re just keeping it on the DL for the time-being.

Had to sell the original ECTO-VW this last summer. The floorboards had rusted out and the engine was shot. My little bug just couldn’t take the strain of daily ecto-elimination calls anymore. So now we’re in the market for a NEW vehicle for the company. We’re thinking about a NEW Beetle…the ECTO-VW-A! I’m the one that makes the decision on that…just waiting til the first of the year to make the purchase.

I have a feeling that 2004 will be a big year for the MTGB and GBI as well. The 20th year for the company is nothing to sneeze at. (You know our 20th year in business will be taken seriously) We’ll keep you guys updated on our progress. Thanks and have a great Christmas and a productive New Year!” - Dr. Roberts, MTGB
